It's size is about the same as the Warrior's Den, with sand covering the floor and moss and feathers built into nests were the apprentices sleep. In the right far corner of the den, there is another hole that leads into a small room which is covered in sand. Here the Apprentices chat when they don't want to disturb sleeping clan-mates in their den.
